Kyriakos Hadjikyriakou
Managing Director
Kyriakos joined Oceanic in December 2002. As Managing Director, he is responsible for all of Oceanic’s service lines that include amongst others, Catering for Merchant Fleets, Catering & Housekeeping on Offshore Projects, Consultancy & Hospitality Management on Cruise vessels, Hospitality & Culinary Training Services.
Kyriakos holds an undergraduate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the City University of New York and an MBA in International Finance from St. John’s University, New York. Prior to joining Oceanic, Kyriakos held a number of positions aboard cruise vessels and at shoreside catering operations.
Kyriakos is based in Limassol, but he is constantly on the road visiting clients and the Oceanic offices across the globe.
Stefan Kern
Director, Cruise & Offshore
Stefan joined Oceanic in 2013. As Director of Oceanic’s Cruise & Offshore Division, Stefan focuses on all aspects concerning Operations, Project Management, Consultancy and the Commercial Development.
With over 20 years of worldwide experience in the hospitality sector, Stefan has held various Senior positions, both ashore & onshore.
Stefan is multilingual and considers himself a Global Citizen. As a native of Austria based in Limassol, he spends most of the year travelling abroad attending to a diverse portfolio of clients for a variety of projects and operations, collaborating with a truly international team. His latest ventures include overseeing the company’s ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets.
Michael Wiesner
Director of Training
Michael has been the Director of Training since 2011 and he is overseeing and developing a number of trainings for catering professionals globally, ashore and on-board vessels. He specializes in developing healthy balanced food menus and recipes.
Before coming to the training profession, Michael worked as Executive Chef on board cruise vessels.
Originally from Hamburg, Michael is presently based in Manila, overseeing the operations of the Oceanic Training Centre, but he is also travelling globally to the other Oceanic training locations.
Popi de Pinto Moyseos
Director, Merchant Fleet
Popi joined Oceanic in 2017 initially as Operations Manager and has been promoted to Head of Operations in 2018 and to General Manager, Merchant Fleet in 2022. In May 2023, Popi has been appointed as Director for the Merchant Fleet.
Popi is overseeing all aspects of the extensive Merchant Fleet, managing various departments of the Company such as Operations, Victualing and Marine Stores as well as working closely with Service Excellence and Business Development Team to ensure smooth operation and efficient customer service. Popi’s primary focus along with client engagement, is Company’s financial growth which she supports by introducing and implementing relevant strategies and procedures to ensure rational expenditure and promote Company’s financial health.
Popi is based in Limassol and has a solid background in the maritime sector having previously worked for the BSM Group since 1999 and for a number of offshore shipping Companies based in Cyprus.
Demetris Petrides
General Manager, Support Services
Demetris joined Oceanic as General Manager, Support Services in 2022. Based in our Limassol office, Demetris is overseeing the SeaMed24 Medical & Wellbeing Services, the Learning & Development and Training Support departments as well as the Compliance and ESG departments.
Before joining Oceanic, Demetris held the position of General Manager for Seascope Navigation Ltd (Member of GAC Group) and shares a wealth of experience in shipping.
Demetris held various managerial positions in international organisations, based in UAE and Saudi Arabia, with regional and international responsibilities in marketing, strategy and business development.
Sebastian Radu
Associate Director, Operations, Cruise & Offshore
Sebastian joined Oceanic in 2009, and he has held various senior positions on-board cruise and offshore vessels, and has managed a wide range of projects shoreside on behalf of Oceanic.
Sebastian holds a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Services from Unirea National College, Brasov, Romania and an undergraduate degree in Vessel Navigation from the Maritime University of Constanta.
Presently based in Hamburg, he is responsible for hotel and catering operations on board Oceanic’s managed cruise and offshore vessels.
Jamie Brown
Associate Director, Client Success, Cruise & Offshore
As Head of Project Management, Jamie Brown brings more than 17 years of ultra-luxury cruise ship experience. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and accredited in ISO:9001 Quality Management Systems, Jamie has held senior roles both afloat and ashore and is a hands-on entrepreneurial leader instrumental in shaping both our strategic projects and success. Along with offering hospitality consultancy for new and existing cruise lines, Jamie brings diverse experience managing and delivering high-profile full ship charters, incentive cruises and global operations.
An Executive MBA graduate of Hult International Business School in London, Jamie is a proactive leader with success in managing all aspects of onboard revenue operations, new product development and innovative projects for both new builds and refits.
A native of California, Jamie is a true global adventurer having traveled to over 130 countries and climbed Mount Everest. Whilst based in Limassol, Jamie has lived and worked in the US, UK, China, and now Cyprus, spending the majority of time abroad on location for the various projects around the globe.
Nicoletta Aristidou
Finance Manager
Nicoletta is the Finance Manager of Oceanic and leads a team of 10 people both in Cyprus and in India. She joined V.Group in April 2005, shortly after obtaining her professional qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has been with Oceanic since March 2010 and she is based in Limassol.
Over the years she has overseen the growth of the Company and has adapted the resources, processes and controls in the Finance Department in order to stay in pace. She sets directions to prioritise and organise actions and resources to achieve financial objectives.
