Our global Catering Superintendents network

Through our global network of Catering Superintendents, we provide on-site vessel attendance at key shipping locations. Our Catering Superintendents have vast expertise and knowledge and will visit vessels managed by Oceanic in order;

  • To assess the service offered to vessels.
  • Provide training and support to the catering crew as required.
  • Ensure a consistent level of victualling service.
  • Inspect suppliers to ensure compliance with quality policies and requirements.
  • Liaise with the Captains and Chief Cooks and support our seafarer.

Our global Catering Superintendents network covers the areas of:

  • Houston
  • Santos
  • Dubai
  • Singapore
  • Shanghai
  • Pusan
  • Istanbul

Support can be provided on request at other locations such as the UK, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, Philippines, and India.


Through our E-Learning courses, we offer continuous training in many diverse areas including menu design, guidance on cooking efficiently and economically, administration and stock control, food safety and hygiene as well as a Messman/Steward development program.

Online Support & Hands-on Training by our Travelling Chefs

Our culinary team of professionals who all have extensive experience in the maritime, hospitality, and catering sector provide online support to catering crew as required and onboard, hands-on support is provided by our Travelling Chefs.
